A mini-lecture on classical music with Lucie Horsch – part 3
In the third Luistervink of this season, Tijmen Wehlburg joins our artist in residence, Lucie Horsch. Lucie shares her personal stories and introduces you to her unique playing on the recorder. Tijmen Wehlburg is a violinist and presenter at Philzuid. Lucie Horsch is the Netherlands’ greatest talent on the recorder. The two meet on May 13 on the PLT stage as Philzuid Into Spring with Lucie Horsch performs with Lucie as soloist. In this listening lesson, the two dive together into the spring music on the program; from Vivaldi to Brahms. The birds are singing and nature is awakening.

Depth in classical music
The Luistervinken are an ideal taster in our classical music program every season. Tijmen Wehlburg is a music connoisseur through and through. He knows the way to the most beautiful peaks and the depth in classical music. It is sometimes difficult to fathom the depth of classical music. I find it wonderful to be able to offer a glimpse into that. Knowing, by the way, that that glimpse usually creates a hunger for more.
