The Mosa Jazz Collective, a big band consisting of the “crème de la crème” of Limburg jazz musicians, comes together once every two months at the Muziekgieterij to share its love for big band music with the audience. This time, the band presents a swinging and summery program with guest vocalist Paul van Kessel.

Swoon away during this busy time just before the summer holidays while enjoying a drink and summery titles such as “Summertime, Sunny, It’s Nice To Go Trav’ling, and Summerwind”.

The Mosa Jazz Collective brings this swinging repertoire together with crooner Paul van Kessel in new, surprising arrangements.

Paul van Kessel is a Limburg jazz vocalist with his own style, a fantastic timbre, and phrasing. He has worked with The Young Sinatras, The Very Next, Wicked Jazz Sounds Band, and the Metropole Orchestra, among others. He has performed at North Sea Jazz and the Montreux Jazz Festival. As a preview of his new album, Van Kessel recently released two singles: ‘Why don’t you do right?’ and ‘CosmicSlop’.

It promises to be a beautiful summer evening that you won’t want to miss!
