On Saturday 19 March 2022, Parkstad Limburg Theaters will be dominated by the 24th edition of the Southern Bluesnight. You read it right. The South’s largest indoor blues festival will continue this year, just the way we planned it in 2020. International top acts such as John Primer, Malford Milligan, Alabama Mike, Chris Bergson & Ellis Hooks travel to Heerlen and are joined on the stages by sounding names from their own country. We had to wait a long time for it, but it is now really going to happen: “It’s all about the blues!”

The 2022 lineup
This edition, the Southern Bluesnight also presents a line-up in which tradition and innovation go hand in hand and hosts the best of the blues on three stages and with live buskers in the corridors of Theater Heerlen. The acts of the Southern Bluesnight 2022 are:
