Alejandra Borzyk presents her new project, “TREMOR,” for the first time.
This project brings together her artistic universe with the musical worlds and sensibilities of Adèle Viret (cello), Benoît Quentin (double bass), and Diogo Alexandre (drums and electronics). The four musicians come together to collectively create an original repertoire, based on the exploration and combination of sounds from the extended techniques of strings and saxophone. With
trance and meditation as their starting point, the group delves into a sonic blend with orchestral reminiscences, noisy textures, a touch of granular synthesis, and free improvisation.
