The ArkA Symphony Orchestra is a Maastricht-based project orchestra in which amateurs and professionals make music enthusiastically and ambitiously together in an innovative way. Since its foundation in 2002, the orchestra has been conducted by Manon Meijs.
Twice a year a selection from a broad repertoire is rehearsed and performed during a short but intensive project. This involves collaboration with various cultural institutions in the region in the form of master classes with professionals, student training, exchanges and cultural crossovers.
