Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will tour in 2023. In June/July they give four open air concerts in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Vienna and Munich. This is Springsteen & The E Street Band’s first live dates since the conclusion of 2016’s The River Tour, hailed as the top-grossing global tour.
“After six years, I’m thrilled to finally be able to meet our amazing and loyal fans again,” said Bruce Springsteen. “And I can’t wait to share the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there next summer and beyond!”
In December 2020, the E Street Band performed two songs from their new studio album Letter to You live as part of America’s most popular TV show Saturday Night Live. “Letter to you” immediately reached number 1 in the charts in 11 countries. In early November, Springsteen released the previously unseen film The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concert, demonstrating the unparalleled quality and explosive nature of Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band’s show.
Bruce Springsteen collaborated with President Barack Obama on the book Renegates: Born in the USA. He also resumed his record-breaking show Springsteen on Broadway last summer to help reopen New York theaters.
The E Street Band members are: Roy Bittan (piano, synths) Nils Lofgren (guitar), Patti Scialfa (guitar, vocals), Garry Tallent (bass guitar), Stevie Van Zandt – (guitar, vocals) and Max Weinberg (drums) – with Soozie Tyrell (violin, guitar, vocals), Jake Clemons (saxophones) and Charlie Giordano (keyboards).
