They once started in 1995 in Anaheim, California, under the name Sparrow, but not much later were forced to choose a different name for their band. Buckcherry was born, a name based on the name of singer Chuck Berry. Apart from this trivia, Chuckberry released a debut album of the same name in 1999, which achieved numerous gold records. After their debut album, the band became quiet for a while, also due to the necessary member changes, but the band gained momentum again in the mid-’00s and has never calmed down again. With an extensive discography behind their name, the most recent achievement dates from 2021, the band will come to Muziekgieterij on February 16, 2024!
