During the Composers Day 2023 (Composers Day 2023), we take you to the cradle of classical music. A symphonic orchestra and chamber ensemble, of course, play classical music. With the wealth of styles we call ‘classical’, there is one era in music history called ‘the classical period’: the music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven – also known as the Viennese Classics. And Haydn stood as a ‘tribe elder’ at the cradle of that classical period. It is not for nothing that he is affectionately called Father Haydn. A masterful day that touches the core of classical music.
