
Dinant Fête la Musique is back this summer: three days of free concerts, including a special family program, and a Saturday night that promises to be a blast! A host of free concerts and workshops are offered by the City of Dinant and all of Dinant’s music partners.
Friday, June 27 – Kiosk
5:00 p.m. – Big Band from the Adolphe Sax Conservatory of Florennes
Let yourself be swept away by the energy of a great jazz ensemble! Twenty musicians, wild brass, brilliant solos, and a swinging atmosphere led by Olivier Bodson, an exceptional trumpeter.
8:00 p.m. – A Dog in the Way
A jazz quartet unlike any other! With elegance and passion, they revisit the great standards and venture into pop. Swing, softness, or dance groove: an evening full of musicality and good humor.
Saturday, June 28 – Kiosk, Esplanade Elisabeth and Cultural Center
10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Musical awakening
Joyful moments of sound discovery, adapted to each age: from 9 months to 2 years (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.), from 3 to 5 years (3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and from 5 to 7 years (1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Free workshops, reservations recommended!
1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Fujinn
Nine giant sound sculptures to explore freely on the Esplanade Élisabeth. Fujinn, an “open orchestra” for young and old, guided by the artists of the Amadeo Kollectif collective.
2:30 p.m.: The Vagabond and the Fox
Song, slam and theatre come together in this poetic and festive show for all ages, performed by a trio of artists who make words vibrate as much as hearts.
4:30 p.m.: Habanera Duo
A high-flying flute-accordion duo! Virtuoso fantasies based on opera hits, with Marc Grauwels and Christophe Delporte.
5:30 p.m.: Day Off Pilots
Electrifying grunge-pop! The new project from the ex-Z-Band blends rock energy, pop melody, and raw emotion. A band on the rise that you absolutely must see live!
7:00 p.m.: Those Fucking Bells
A burst of Irish-style folk punk (Namur style), guaranteed to deliver a pub atmosphere! Their energy, from original compositions to revisited folklore, is contagious.
8:00 p.m.: Friday Frida
Nine singers, one vibrant breath: Friday Frida takes you on a journey through their favorites, music from here and elsewhere, timeless hits, and unexpected gems. A festive and captivating symbiosis, driven by complicity and the joy of singing together.
9:30 p.m.: NAFT
A true phenomenon of Belgian instrumental tech house. An explosive fusion of brass and techno in a high-energy live show. An intense electro-acoustic experience that resonates. long after the concert ended.
Sunday, June 29 – Saint-Nicolas District and City Center
On the occasion of the sale, the Conservatory and its branches, as well as its Harmony Orchestra, will take over the streets of Dinant.
