In Dreamers, Mami Izumi reflects on our society through the view of the entertainment industry with its abundance of joy and supposed happiness. How can we find our identity in a world where we constantly have to assume superficial roles and join social circles to be accepted? With powerful elements of the entertainment industry, movement, sound and image create a platform for the authentic journey of five individuals: five break dancers with their personal stories, experiences, struggles, wishes, dreams and the desire to find their own place in our society. .
