Duo Mader – Papandreopoulos DUTCH CLASSICAL TALENT
The great talents in Maastricht for three days!
Duo Mader consists of two gentlemen, an Austrian and a Greek! The duo worked with Arno Bornkamp in Amsterdam and Pierre-Laurent Aimard in Cologne, two greats from the saxophone and piano world. They performed at the biggest music festivals in the world such as Festival Klangbasel (Switzerland) and 1st Birmingham Piano Chamber Music Festival (England). In the Netherlands they could be admired at Wonderfeel and the Oranjewoud Festival. Their debut CD was released in February 2019. The duo presents a program about emigration, physical and imaginary emigration. And with that also about fleeing, homesickness, wandering and coming home. A current topic at this time…
