Dylan LeBlanc combines his understated personality with the power of his new album ‘Renegade’, a rock ‘n’ roll project recorded in just ten days. The album is inspired by more than a decade of touring and LeBlanc’s observations on the harsh realities of life. Themes such as tragedy, personal growth, relationships and social issues are woven into the songs, such as the title track ‘Renegade’, which revolves around charming, reckless youth.

Recorded with producer Dave Cobb and his live band The Pollies, the album has a raw energy, influenced by Tom Petty and 80’s rock. LeBlanc explores new musical directions with electric guitars and personal lyrics, such as in ‘Born Again’, in which he reflects on a difficult childhood.

With ‘Renegade’ LeBlanc shows his growth as a vocalist and songwriter, building on the roots of his musical youth in Muscle Shoals and his creative drive to help himself and others grow. To be heard on June 4th at Muziekgieterij.
