In collaboration with Studium Generale Maastricht and InScience Festival, we proudly present the third satellite edition of the science film festival in Maastricht. All programs are in English.
InScience/Maastricht shows three highlights of the festival. This year’s central theme is ‘Our Future in the Making’. Does the COVID-19 crisis provide us with an opportunity to make the major revolution that the climate desperately needs? But who has control over our future? And what will our future look like? Are you hopeful about the possibilities or concerned about what we might lose?

Documentary about the burgeoning technology of Deep Brain Simulation (DBS). What if there was a place deep in the brain that can take you from pain to pleasure? Prior to the screening Dr. Annelien Duits – who works as a clinical neuropsychologist at University Hospital Maastricht as part of the group of practitioners at Deep Brain Stimulation – will give an introduction (30 min.).
