The Inspyria Quartet was founded in 2021 by four young musicians, each with very different backgrounds. But with the same passion for chamber music. That chemistry speaks: barely one year later, this new ensemble won the Music Award Maastricht 2022.

The members of the Inspyria Quartet met at the Maastricht Conservatory, where all four of them study chamber music with Anastasia Safonova. What binds them is an indomitable passion for chamber music. The name Inspyria Quartet comes from the feeling of inspiration they experience by playing together: “The fact that someone else can inspire you through his or her musical feeling and insight is a beautiful, even magical fact.” In their Orpheo Concert they play the Piano Quartet in C minor, op. 13 by Richard Strauss and the Piano Quartet in A minor, op. 67 by Joaquin Turina.
