Southern Bluesnight presents…

After a long period of waiting it is time for Blues again and not just Blues, but Southern Bluesnight presents K. Walters & Robert Ducat. This special blues duo has joined their musical forces to do a fantastic tour, which can of course also be admired at PLT.

K. Walters
This Chicago acoustic Singer / Songwriter is also known as Khalif Wailin ‘Walter. The K. WALTERS PROJECT was born as a solo creative outlet showcasing K.’s versatile songwriting. Of course, Chicago-born and traveled and performed all over the world with some of the Blues world’s most acclaimed artists, the Blues is in K.’s soul. However, apart from the limitations of his band and the Blues format, his songs are infused with musical influences such as Soul, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Country, Funk. K.’s ability to write beautifully poetic images, tell stories and paint images of life’s daily soap operas through his lyrics are the focus of his songs. In this largely “naked” musical setting, K. Walters delivers his own very individual drum-like, rhythmic approach to the acoustic guitar. Also in this setting K. extends his voice as an instrument.
K. Walters music is a colorful journey through a musical rainbow of styles. His live shows are steeped in his love of music and storytelling, where everyone is invited and welcome to travel.

Robert Ducat
Rober Ducat is a Singer / Songwriter from Orlando, Florida (USA). He currently lives in Essen (DE). From this point he has been touring around Europe for the past 5 years. Robert has been a professional solo musician for 25 years with 5 studio albums and 2 live albums to his name. His music comes about through his extensive knowledge of different music genres, as well as the life he has lived up to now. His passionate voice and melodic way of playing guitar shows that he is passionate about making live music. These fiery live performances touch audiences and often leave them with goosebumps.
