The Limburg concert pianist Kasper Schonewille will present his long-awaited debut CD and book on this evening.
In the summer of 2021, Schonewille recorded his debut CD at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. An album completely dedicated to the German composer Felix Mendelssohn. The book has become a guide through drawings by Schonewille and Mendelssohn to relive the legendary Mendelsshohn journey in Scotland. Parts of the documentary that L1 made about this special journey will be shown during the presentation concert.

Opera singer Sef Thissen will reveal the deeper layers through personal conversations with Schonewille. But the music certainly has the upper hand. Kasper Schonewille will perform various pieces from his album and will certainly surprise you with very interesting guest soloists. An early romantic program in which the music of Mendelssohn will of course be central.

After the concert there is an opportunity to speak to Kasper personally and possibly purchase the media book.
