With Little Waves we keep the tradition high – the kick-off of the festival season – high! The indoor festival for you, the music lover of the better work. The first names have been confirmed.
TRIXIE WHITLEY
Last week, Trixie Whitley still had to lay her fingers on Angele during the MIAs in the “Solo Woman” category, but she was nominated for the fifth time for this award. By the way, she won this trophy in 2014. In the spring, she still convinced with her talent and presence as a special guest at dEUS and she herself toured full halls. In C-mine you can see her at work exclusively SOLO. Undoubtedly a unique live experience from a multi-talented lady from their own country!
DESTROYER (CA)
Previously on the main stage of Best Kept Secret, now finally in Belgium again: Destroyer! No, no heavy metal guitars, on the contrary, beautiful, subdued indie pop from the band of Canadian pop craftsman Dan Bejar. Just recently his new video “It Just Doesn’t Happen” was released, from their new album “Have We Met”, which appears on January 31. We can already guess which reviews will follow.
BENJAMIN FRANCIS LEFTWICH (UK)
Ever heard of “most addictive track” on Spotify? Well, that’s the number that is put on repeat the most. In 2014 it was “Shine” from above named artist with the most beautiful name from music country. Raw, melancholic, folk,… describing in one word would be dishonoring him, associating his sound with Damien Rice or Bon Iver is in order. A unique voice from the UK, for you to enjoy, from your soft armchair.
