The largest and most beautiful winter event in the Netherlands returns more magical than ever this year. Come to Magical Maastricht Vrijthof in December and enjoy typical winter activities, nostalgic attractions, the best food, the Christmas market and the new Regional Products Square.

The indoor ice rink of no less than 1,000 square metres has been the crowd puller at Magisch Maastricht Vrijthof for years. New is a small replica of the Sint-Servaas bridge, which you can walk across or skate under. This year, you can also venture onto “slippery ice” at the new street curling rink, where you can compete with and against each other in a game of “shoving stones”. A tube glide at the foot of St Servatius’ Basilica and St John’s Church will provide even more winter fun this year. The traditional carousel is also not to be missed.
