The Malevich Piano Quartet is known from the Orlando Festival in Kerkrade. The young musicians are currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. Fortunately, they can still find time for a performance in Heerlen.

The Malevich Piano Quartet first emerged as a company in 2015 during a masterclass by Prof. Henk Guittart, artistic director of the Orlando Festival. Until then, the members had individually manifested themselves in various other ensembles. Since that first joint performance, things have gone fast and the quartet has won several prestigious competitions in France, Germany and Russia. During their performance in Heerlen, the quartet will study a varied chamber music program with music by Bach, Schumann, Kox and Fauré.
