One of Finland’s most renowned post-bop saxophonists shines with a rhythm section featuring some of the finest musicians from Finland and Belgium. These experienced musicians will provide you with an exciting evening of swing, virtuosity, and interplay. This ensemble will play Dunkel’s exciting and melodic compositions as well as selected jazz standards.

Manuel Dunkel (born 1971 in Finland) has released seven albums as a leader. He is a long-time member of the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. Manuel Dunkel has performed in over 30 countries and worked with internationally renowned musicians such as Peter Bernstein, Rick Margitza, and Kenny Wheeler. In 2011, he received the prestigious Yrjö Award from the Finnish Jazz Federation.
