On August 1, 2020, it will be exactly 75 years ago that the then Minister of the Navy decided to re-establish a band. Of course there had been music in the Navy for much longer. In 1864 the Staff Music of the Royal Navy was established. It was discontinued after the outbreak of the Second World War. In the anniversary year, various ensembles of the Marine Band will play the program 75 years, so wide the world, a selection from the rich repertoire of the world-famous orchestra. This time, however, in a small line-up.
