New Project, New Music, New Era: The Savelberg Chapel Concert Series
Project description: In the center of Heerlen; this is a striking building with its own story.
In this historic place of reflection, the Heerlen Jazz Foundation creates a stage with space for experiment, improvisation and individuality. Stichting Heerlen jazz presents a number of performances by top musicians. An encounter with contemporary music and its makers.

This concert series includes special concerts , innovative and pure . Live and experience, Music of today!
Try-out took place in 2020. Heerlen Jazz hosted Maria Mendes, Sanne Rambachs, Cythia Knoch and Dick de Graaf.
The need that was created by the Corona reality was made a virtue.
In the sense that a location that was corona Proof was sought.
This is how a special concert series in corona time was created. An impression has been made of some of these concerts.
This could be financially supported by extra contributions from the Fund for the Performing Arts, Slim and entrance fees.
