Mónica Coronado & Manito – Melodias del Corazón
Singer Mónica Coronado has a concert program called “Melodías del Corazón” together with gipsy flamenco guitarist Manito. With this warm-blooded performance, the listener is taken to a world full of passion, melancholy and passion. The repertoire includes both existing and self-written Spanish songs. At the concerts, Monica quickly gets people on the edge of their seats. She knows how to enchant her audience with her charisma. Manito always knows how to stimulate her to get the most out of his playing with his virtuoso playing. During the concerts he also plays various other stringed instruments, including the Laud (Spanish Lute).

About Monica Coronado & Manito
Monica Coronado was born and raised in Barcelona. Her parents are originally from Castilla de la Mancha. She often heard flamenco music in her father’s car. At the age of 25 she went on a musical world tour with her guitar. During this period he tasted different styles of music. She eventually ended up in the Netherlands via Cuba, America and India. In Arnhem she studied light music.

Manito started playing guitar at a very early age. He developed his own style on the flamenco guitar. His playing is intuitive and rich in diverse influences. Manito maintains a dialogue with Monica with his fiery and narrative improvisations. His name is a direct reference to the French guitar legend ‘Manitas de Plata’
