Pop the champagne, the new year has begun. There is no better or more beautiful tradition than to celebrate with a New Year’s concert! When you say New Year’s concert, you immediately think of Johan Strauss. Enter the new year with Viennese waltzes, polkas and marching music. Conductor Sander Teepen takes you to the source of inspiration for all these sounds: folk music from the Habsburg Empire. An exciting Slavic Dance by Dvorák, the Hungarian Rhapsody by Liszt and much more. Our own concertmaster Adelina Hasani will play solos for you in three virtuoso dances from “her” Albania.
