Enter the world of a genius. Composer, producer, director, actor. Charlie Chaplin made more than 80 films and thrilled the world! Within a few years, he became one of the most famous and highest-paid actors in the world.
Chaplin spent quite a bit of his life in America, where he was accused of treason in 1949 and ‘deported’ to England in 1952. He became one of the victims of the witch-hunt against communists, he was accused of sex with a minor and a number of other crimes. Chaplin did not lead an exceptionally cheerful life, but managed like no other to make the world laugh and cry at the same time. Pip Utton not only exposes Chaplin’s talent, but also certainly shows the other side of Chaplin’s life.
