Maastricht’s own Jazz Club. The Pop-up Jazzclub is a unique place where jazz musicians and listeners meet for an intimate musical experience.

Every third Friday of the month, Jazz Maastricht, together with Theater aan het Vrijthof, transform the foyer and theater of Kumulus into a true Jazz Club. The Pop-up Jazzclub is a unique meeting place where you can enjoy special and intimate jazz concerts. With an evening-filling program, the Pop-up Jazzclub is the place for a pleasant and musical evening out. From well-known jazz musicians to new talent from traditional jazz to modern and crossover, there is something for every jazz lover! The 2nd edition of the Pop-up Jazz Club is dedicated to Italian-born singer-songwriter Marta Arpini and Jo Didderen & Equipe de Reve.

Marta Arpini 

The singer and composer Marta Arpini is inspired by often unconventional artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Andy Shauf and Adrianne Lenke. The result? Beautiful songs that are somewhere in between vocal jazz and dreamy indie pop. During this concert she will be on stage with her special quintet.

Jo Didderen & L’Equipe de Rêve

Jo Didderen and his energetic Dreamteam (Equipe de Rêve) once again prove that jazz can be a feast for the ears and the heart. A groovy company consisting of no fewer than 8 top musicians from the Euregio. The sound of Jo Didderen & L’Equipe de Rêve is somewhere between Blue Note classics and New Cool Collective, with both feet firmly in tradition, yet completely contemporary!
