WANDER is a trio from the Netherlands, consisting of vocalists Babs van Bree, Renée Steenvoorden and Robbert Suilen. They have been musically active together since 2019, composing, arranging and playing at various stages and festivals; including the Roode Bioscoop in Amsterdam, Poppodium Grenswerk and Theater de Maaspoort in Venlo, Autumn Leaves Jazz Festival and the MIM in Brussels.

In September 2021 they will present their debut album: ‘Songs from the Garden’.

The music of WANDER can be described as harmonic jazz with a hint of folk. They combine powerful close harmony with experimental improvisations and electric guitar, creating different musical layers. All three have studied music all over Europe, which makes for an interesting mix of ideas and styles.
Together they find a harmonious and refined intimacy in the music. Original compositions and surprising arrangements ensure that WANDER leads the listener away from the busy cities to the silence of nature, on a journey through time.
