Entertainment is very important to the four Swabians. Sombreros? Sailor costumes? Boy band choreographies? It’s clear! Rikas are open to everything that is fun. And they know how narrow the line between coolness and ridiculousness is. But that’s exactly what it’s all about: dancing on a knife edge, as perfectly shaped and stylish as possible, preferably with somersault and pirouette.
You haven’t heard such casual soul pop from Germany for a long time. Make the difficult sound easy. The songs by Rikas turn an evening without a plan, a film without a plot into something unforgettable in no time. Melodies like Stevie Wonder, the Pop-Drive from Phoenix, the self-irony of a Jarvis Cocker. So much sovereignty, too, that makes you wonder where the hell did the boys get it from?
Doors open at 7 p.m., start at 8 p.m.
