More than a decade ago, 4 kids started making music in a small rehearsal room in Flanders’ Fields. They never dreamed that the loud noise they made under the name Steak Number Eight would make it this far.

From selling the biggest concert halls in Belgium, to the biggest metal festivals in Europe, to touring with bands like Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Alice Cooper and Deftones, they all did it.

STAKE has since signed a contract with the renowned British HASSLE RECORDS. On May 2 they released “Catatonic Dreams” as the lead single, followed by a 12 ”vinyl EP. The debut album “Critical Method” was released on November 1, 2019.

We hear a tighter sound, with more references to the nineties, but at least as much energy!

Parklife XL is Café Café’s musical hotspot this summer. With 4 live concerts every week, the same number of DJ sets, and tons of bubble fun, Café Café also fills the summer weekends in Hasselt in the healthy ‘Park’ air.

Parklife’s golden rules for a safe event:
* Have fun in your own bubble, at your own table. Do not mix with other tables. Dancing is not allowed;
* Respect social distance. Keep 1.5m apart when standing in line at the entrance and toilets.
* Sit at your table. Toilet visits are of course allowed;
* If you want to use the sanitary facilities, first check whether it is too busy and wait if possible until the crowds are over;
* The toilets are permanently ventilated;
* A toilet lady is present daily for regular cleaning of our toilets;
* No orders are possible at the bar, all orders go through our app;
* Wash and disinfect your hands regularly. There will be sufficient hand sanitizers on site (at the entrance, toilets, bar, …)
* Bring your mouth mask to Parklife XL;
* At the concerts it is recommended to wear one if the sound volume exceeds 80db. Singing or talking loudly during the concert is not allowed;
* Face masks are mandatory in case of emergency or evacuation;
* Don’t be a risk to other people and stay home if you don’t feel well;
* As a precautionary measure, all visitors will be scanned at the entrance with a temperature scanner;
* Come by bicycle, on foot or by public transport. Parking will be very limited.
