TEN SONGS OF CHANGE SACRED TOUR
The performance ‘Ten Songs of Change’ is a concert poem, based on the ancient Chinese ‘Book of Change’, the ‘I Ching’.
The project is a kaleidoscope of music, poems and live calligraphy, all inspired by the trigrams of the I Ching, which symbolize the different appearances in nature. The poems are mainly from the Tang Dynasty and have been selected by author Lulu Wang, who is part of the artistic team. The music will be performed by musical alchemist and initiator of the project, Maya Fridman (cello & vocals) and Marion von Tilzer (piano), composer of Ten Songs of Change. In July 2021 the music with the poems will be released as a CD on TRPKT. Loi Che Rakhorst made the artwork especially for this album.
