Because we’re exploring all year round, not just before and during the 043 festival in September, you’ll get a monthly taster of what you’ll see and hear at Muziekgieterij. And maybe even during the festival itself. Three bands, normally reserved for early adopters, you can now hear in one evening, all for free! “Zero for three,” in other words, in our beautiful city with the equally beautiful area code, 043. The Big Idea
At The Big Idea, psych rock meets post-punk, classical music, avant-garde, and all sorts of things. Powerful and subtle, diverse and a little bit quirky, this band has it all.

ANEMONE
Anemone is a Dutch psychedelic rock quartet driven by emotion, volume, and unpredictability. Their sound balances between hazy introspection and raw, candid intensity. Psychedelic guitar sounds, layered melodies, and powerful rhythms create songs that feel both intimate and expansive.

Blue Robin
Blue Robin is a five-piece indie band that fuses dreaminess and melancholy with queer identity and raw emotion, hidden in metaphor. Their sound floats between indie and dream pop, with influences from Florence & The Machine, Tamino, and Daughter. They recently won Sound Track and are our brand-new Artist in Residence for 2026.
