Playa Urbana… the Summer Sessions… A temporary open-air theater in Heerlen! During the days of festival-free summer in South Limburg, there is still something to enjoy! The creative business park of C-Mill in Heerlen forms a stage for Playa Urbana for six weekends … the Summer Sessions … From Sunday 23 August to the end of September there are open-air concerts every weekend in a wonderful festival-like atmosphere. And completely corona-proof of course…!

The Cooder Connection
The Cooder Connection originated from pure love for Ry Cooder’s music. Master guitarist Pieter Vermeulen is the Heerlen frontman of the band. Few musicians can handle Cooder’s music. Taste and feeling for musical intention is necessary to play this music with integrity. Together with Ron Bormans on vocals, Angelo Bombrini on accordion, Geert Roelofs on drums and his bass-playing brother Simon, The Cooder Connection plays the music through life and intense. In this composition the true Cooder freaks come together. In which Bormans revives the famous Rootsmusician Lowell George of the legendary band Little Feat. This results in a distinct musical cross-fertilization that should not be missed.

Playa Urbana is Corona proof
– There is a maximum capacity of 250 visitors (seats).
– Tickets can only be ordered online in advance per 1 or 2 tickets.
– (permanent) seats are designated upon arrival.
– Consumptions can only be ordered online in advance! There is a choice of various packages; it is not possible to (re) order drinks on the site.
– If the activity is canceled due to (additional) corona measures, ticket buyers will receive the full purchase amount back.
