The Liberated Voice Workshop with Kefas Berlin has by now gathered several thousands of people in more than 10 countries:
Romania, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Belgium, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, South Korea, Iceland, China, Germany and now The Netherlands.
That counts for more than 3.000 participants who took a leap of faith and joined the event.Participants from past editions come from all sorts of backgrounds.They are teachers, coaches, team leaders, youth workers, trainers and facilitators, actors, singers (even professional ones), public speakers, programmers, marketing specialists and… parents.
Essentially, they are people willing to better know themselves, to learn, to develop their creative energy and to enjoy genuine human connection. Notably, they have an openness towards doing all these with the support of their voice, even if they might have never used it this way.

“The Liberated Voice” is a unique method developed by the Swedish facilitator Kefas Berlin in decades of work with thousands of people as a facilitator of voice workshops, choir leader, acting teacher and in his somatic therapeutic sessions.
Whether you use your voice to relate with people, your partners, colleagues, friends and loved ones, or you constantly rely on your voice in your work, a lively partnership with it will enrich your life.
The voice is your life-long companion. It stays with you your entire life. In this way, it can be a trustful partner, a playmate, or an unexplored part of yourself. This is the aim of the workshop: to help you be friend with your voice.
And for it to happen – as with all changes in life – it will get you out of your comfort zone, yet in a gentle way, within a journey about exploration, expression and self acceptance.

Kefas Berlin, born in Stockholm, has been working pedagogically, artistically and therapeutically with children, young people and adults with Singing, Playing , Dance and Physical Theater. For more than 30 years he has regularly been giving workshops in Singing and Voice Work, Vocal Improvisation, Play and Physical Theater in Sweden and abroad, and is also an appreciated choir and workshop leader at international conferences. Except workshops he leads several local community choirs and gives private sessions at his reception in Mölnbo, Sweden, that range from Singing lessons and Voice Coaching to Therapeutic Voice Work.
Since 1982, he has participated in hundreds of stage productions – as a dancer, actor, musician, singer, actor, composer or director. He has written more than 300 musical opuses, including music for several dance and theater performances. Since 1998 also working as an actor, singer and teacher at Theatre Slava in Stockholm.
