Trio Strandmon are three young Spanish musicians with a preference for chamber music. This ensemble brings an energetic and fresh take on the piano trio repertoire with a refined link to traditions.
In this way they try to give Spanish music a relevant position in the European landscape. In 2016 they won first prize at the VI Caja Rural-Consmupa Chamber Music Competition and in 2021 they won second prize at Arnuero’s International Chamber Music Contest. Ignacio Rodríguez, Delia Sainz and Héctor Sanz Castillo are currently pursuing their master’s degree at the Maastricht Conservatory under the supervision of Professor Alexander Chaushian
