Maastrichter starts organizing regular expat events to connect global minds living in Maastricht region. The first event will be on 24 February at 7pm at Crowne Plaza Maastricht. Due to Covid regulations, the event capacity will be 30 people and registration is needed.
Organizing regular meet up events was on Maastrichter’s agenda for long time yet it was not possible due to pandemic regulations.
Deniz Gurhan from Maastrichter says that ‘Especially the new residents of the region struggled to meet with new people during pandemic. We aim to create an environment for the new and old residents of the region to meet, connect and mingle. Starting from the spring this year, we will be also organizing some day trips to Liege and Aachen combined with cultural and culinary activities’.
