With the lively sounds of Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Poulenc’s playful Les Biches, a summery concert evening full of vibrant energy and musical adventures awaits you. Stravinsky’s Petrushka, originally composed for the famous Ballets Russes, shines in this concert in the beloved 1947 version. This performance adds extra dynamics to the piano and percussion and offers Chief Conductor Duncan Ward the opportunity to showcase the orchestra at its most sparkling.

Additionally, the Dutch premiere of a special work composed especially for Philzuid will be performed; his Sinfonia Concertante will be performed with piano virtuoso Alexandre Tharaud and cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras. Expect a spectacular program that brings together classical and modern influences in an inspiring way. The season finale could not be more fitting.
