The Muze Jazz Orchestra (MJO) has been in existence for 10 years and will be celebrated extensively this autumn. Every first Sunday of the month the full orchestra plays with a special guest and musicians who previously played with MJO. On Sunday 6 September they will join forces with harmonica virtuoso Steven De bruyn. They bring the highlights of the music they created for the “Suite for the Last Mine” and the album “New Horizons”. MUZE is virtually the only cultural center with its own in-house orchestra and we are particularly proud of that.

Today the band consists of Daniel Vanderhoydonks (trumpet), Lieven Cambré, Koen Nijs & Stien Carlier (sax), Tim Daemen (trombone), David Demuynck (keys), Marco Cirone (guitar), Rob Vanspauwen (bass) & David La Mela (drums).
