FRONTSTAGE PRESENTS: ANNA NITA, AR-JANE AND MAXIME X GLYN

Anna Nita, Ar-Jane and Maxime x Glyn are the three winners of Frontstage. Together they are preparing a festival set with which they will present themselves at the free accessible South Limburg festivals Mama’s Pride (Geleen), Daddy Cool (Heerlen) and Bruis (Maastricht) next year. You will get an acoustic foretaste of this during the Cultura Nova Winter Edition.

Anna Nita
Anna Nita takes her inspiration from jazz, R&B and soul icons such as Sade, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. Her music is a laid-back mix of soulful pop, R&B and jazz with sharp lyrics on themes such as empowerment and hypersensitivity. Her debut EP Insulated was released at the end of April. The song Cloud Nine is already in the top 50 of NPO Radio 2 Soul & Jazz.

Ar-Jane
The up-and-coming singer-songwriter Ar-Jane from Geleen Ar-Jane makes pop music with a melancholic edge, contemporary and honest. In 2018 she won the Limburg final of Kunstgelegen and was in the Amsterdam Westergasfabriek. She gets her inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Phoebe Bridgers and Aurora.

Maxime x Glyn
Maxime x Glyn are soulful and laid-back. They appeared on Pop on Top, in Trijntje Oosterhuis’ aftershow and as support act for Glennis Grace with their ‘mix of dreamy guitars, soothing, rhythmic melodies and vulnerable yet sultry vocals.’ Together with their band, these promising R&B artists perform with South American roots hear and feel their soulful music!
