Ladysmith Black Mambazo has been warming the world for 50 years with their stirring vocal harmonies and performances. The popular South African a cappella group broke through worldwide in the 1980s after their contribution to Paul Simon’s CD Graceland. This season, this legendary singing group can finally be seen and experienced in our country again.

Over the years, Ladysmith Black Mambazo has won five Grammy Awards and 19 Grammy nominations. Since the 1970s it has been the most successful group from South Africa.

On tour with a new generation
This season Ladysmith Black Mambazo is touring with a whole new generation of singers on stage. Full of confidence, the original members have handed over the baton to new talent, to convey their incredibly rich musical tradition, the stories, but especially their message of peace, love and harmony to new audiences.
