Concert tours have taken him all over the world, playing at many renowned jazz festivals, and releasing numerous CDs under his own name and with his bands “Witzel’s Venue” and “Drei im roten Kreis”, which made it into the English and Japanese jazz charts.
A composer for television and theatre, lecturer for saxophone and organiser of festivals, Düsseldorf saxophonist Reiner Witzel has been an active voice on the international jazz scene for many years.
Collaborators include David Sanborn, Dave Liebman, the “Supremes” and many more!
