After the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao (Spain), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey (Mexico), the National Gallery in Canberra (Australia) and the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, La Boverie is welcoming the exhibition retracing the event in Liège. history of this current of contemporary art, hyperrealist sculpture.

With a selection of around forty hyperrealist sculptures by leading international artists (Paul McCarthy, George Segal, Ron Mueck, Maurizio Cattelan, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Duane Hanson, Carole Feuerman, John De Andrea…), the exhibition “ Hyperrealism Sculpture. This is not a body ”accounts for the evolution of the human figure in the sculpture of this current from the 1970s to the present day.
