Dorona Alberti sings everything that appeals to her, from jazz and soul to pop and punk. Her music is characterized by emotional depth and a versatile style that she describes as “music with oomph”.

Since 2006, she has been the frontwoman of Gare du Nord, with which she achieved great success. She has performed with André Rieu and in her show Pearls brings unique interpretations of songs by Prince, Kate Bush and Bowie, among others, combined with her own personal stories.

Once a month, Jazz Maastricht, in co-production with Theater aan het Vrijthof, transforms the foyer and theater hall of Kumulus into a real Jazzclub. With an evening-filling program, The Pop-up Jazzclub is the place to be for a fun and musical night out. From well-known jazz musicians to new talent, from traditional jazz to modern and crossover, there is something for every jazz lover!
