André Rieu has announced through that he is again at the MECC in Maastricht this year with his Christmas concerts.

The world-famous conductor performs his ‘Christmas with André’ show on December 19 and 20 in MECC Maastricht.

“My own city”
“Christmas is the best time of the year for me, and I prefer to spend it in the company of my friends, family and fans in my own city,” says Rieu. “Last year the atmosphere at the MECC was fantastic. So romantic and at the same time very cheerful. I want to invite my audience again for this wonderful trip to Winter Wonderland: to the world of Santa Claus, the magic of Christmas and the beauty of these days. ”

In December 2019 he was on stage three times at the MECC. With that he attracted around 30,000 visitors. The Christmas concert tradition was always in London before. Last year he said he had left because orchestra members and the public had to sit in an ice-cold hall.
