Amber Haddad is a Belgian/Lebanese singer from Ghent. Together with her band, the Amber Haddad Quintet, Amber found her own unique sound somewhere between Arabic music, Flamenco, jazz and pop. Always looking for new sounds, Amber plunged into traditional Lebanese music and lost her heart to the song Ana la habibi by the great singer Fairuz. She brings relatively unknown music to the Dutch & Belgian audience in combination with more accessible western jazz music. Her urge is to let her emotions run wild in places where the public can experience a journey through feelings, stories and colors in the world of Amber and her Belgian and Lebanese roots.

Essential to Amber’s sound are the influences of Lebanese singers such as Fairuz, Mike Massy and Dafher Youssef in combination with Western artists such as Simin Tander and Avishai Cohen… The result is music in which calm, warm colors and honest expression carry the listener through an emotional landscape.
