HALEHAN + BLACK LILYS

HALEHAN
THE NEW PEPITE FOLK OF OUR PLAT PAYS

Born in Brussels in 1994, Alexandre Lambrecht aka Halehan is a Belgian singer, songwriter and composer. With his first solo EP “Temple of Maia” and the flagship single “Whirlwind”, he obtains the title of the new folk nugget. He’s back in 2019 with a new single titled “Kind of Blue”. A nod to Miles Davis and others of his melancholy heroes who rocked his childhood, this title marks a symbolic departure from the comfortable “blue” of his youth towards an uncertain future. By his words, his singing and his arrangements all the more electronic, Halehaninsist to dare to change. New style, new vision creative transition; fans might be surprised … Kind of Blue is the first in a new series of songs; this one inspired among others by Anderson Paak, Childish Gambino and Portishead.

BLACK LILYS
Through an organic pop that balances between power and vulnerability, dark and bright, the siblings proudly testify to resilience. Black Lilys is also the alliance of Robin’s guitar playing which sometimes reminds us of The XX or Ben Howard and the hoarse voice of Camille who crosses the universe of Björk and Julia Stone, all on a production modern with Nordic inspirations. After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Boxes in 2018, their track “Nightfall” is chosen on the Netflix series “Elite”. The title now exceeds 1.5 Million streams. The group is currently recording their new songs which they will present on stage.
