Composer and pianist (and producer of Guus Meeuwis) Jan-Willem Rozenboom visits our Sunday Morning Classical
With the music from his latest album Jan-Willem Rozenboom plays Bach – Seven Piano Transcriptions. In this program, Jan-Willem plays his own special arrangements of arias, organ pieces and violin compositions by Bach. The highlight is the famous Chaconne in an arrangement for the left hand only by Johannes Brahms. As befits a lecture, he also talks about the music and about Bach and other compositions are also heard.

Like the fugue Jan-Willem wrote to the melody of Brabant; the song he composed with Guus Meeuwis inspired by the aria of the Goldberg Variations.
