From July 28 to August 28, the second edition of the Lumière Open Air Film Festival will take place. No less than 25 sultry summer evenings under the stars with high-profile premieres, classics, specials, good company and hopefully nice weather.

Practical information

Tickets
> It is only possible to buy tickets online (reservation is not possible). Sold out show? 75 tickets are available in advance, and 25 extra tickets will go on sale if the weather is good.

Location
> Richie Backfireplein (the lawn behind Lumière).

Start
> You reach the event site through the normal main entrance of Lumière. The event site opens half an hour before the start. This way you have plenty of time to quietly find a place and order a drink.

Bar
> There is no outdoor bar. Drinks can be ordered in advance at the bar in Lumière’s restaurant.

beach chairs
> We provide beach chairs. It is therefore not necessary to bring your own chair.

Headphones
> Headphones are handed out at some performances, so we ensure that you can optimally enjoy intimate films under all circumstances that you don’t want to miss a second of.

Bad weather?
> The performance always goes on. Of course we hope for good weather, but with heavy rain or thunderstorms we will move the movie night inside. In that case you will receive an email in good time that the performance will take place in a cinema. With a few raindrops we just start the film in the open air (in that case bring an extra (rain) jacket). You cannot refund your tickets when it rains.

Intimate and corona proof
> A maximum of 100 tickets are available for each evening this year. With a small, intimate setting, it is possible to keep more than enough distance and to move the film showing indoors in case of bad weather.
