
From 18 to 20 September 2026, Maastricht will host the 44th edition of Musica Sacra, a multidisciplinary festival exploring the connections between art, spirituality, and contemporary questions.
Over three days, audiences can experience a distinctive programme of music, music theatre, visual art, film, lectures, dialogue, and rituals at venues across the city. The theme of the 2026 edition is “Ecstasy”, inviting visitors to explore moments of intense emotion, spiritual elevation, surrender, and transcendence through different artistic forms and perspectives.
