The concept originated in the current corona era. A lot has changed in the culture and events sector. The entire night industry is under a lot of pressure from the restrictions that are being imposed and which are firmly enforced. Nachtwacht wants to stimulate the night culture and therefore comes up with the vision to keep watch over the night together with local heroes and thus maintain the night culture! With this, Nachtwacht wants to create more support for the electronic house scene in Maastricht and hopefully many other cities.

Inspired by locations in Berlin, Nijmegen, Utrecht and Amsterdam, Nachtwacht will bring high-quality productions in appropriate and atmospheric venues in order to once again experience the ultimate experience of the Night. Let our home base, Muziekgieterij, be just such a venue, the industrial look and inner garden of Muziekgieterij feel like ‘little Berlin’.
