OBOY comes from Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in 94 and OMEGA is his first album after the 8-track Southside last year, already more than 20 million streams. Since his first Olyside project in 2016, the 22-year-old rapper has remained faithful to his style of city bluesman, melancholic thug, except that he progressed at an accelerated speed and that his palette of flows and atmospheres is considerably enriched.

OBOY easily manages to impose its universe on its own way. We are fascinated by the natural ease of its flow and the wealth of styles. After this first more than promising opus, he has already started to work on the following one: “Until I am told that it is necessary to stop and leave the studio, for me a sound is never enough fussed”: what follows promises to be even heavier than this already behemoth project.
